From September 9-14, the Paxton Products team had the opportunity to exhibit at the 2024 International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago, Illinois, alongside its sister company, Vortec. During the show, Paxton Products showcased a wide variety of its energy efficient drying and blow-off solutions for the manufacturing industry. IMTS is one of the largest manufacturing technology shows in the Western Hemisphere and only takes place every two years. Held in the McCormick Place Convention Center, IMTS attracts visitors from over 112 countries and even reached 89,020 registrants at this year's show, surpassing the previous show. During the show, IMTS offered educational workshops and conferences with live learning experiences designed to bring those in the manufacturing industry together to discuss opportunities, exchange new ideas, network with industry experts, and explore new ways to enhance business operations.
Event Highlights
For the first time ever, Paxton Products combined booths and co-exhibited with its sister company, Vortec, to be able to showcase an even wider range of solutions for the manufacturing industry. Over 60 years ago, Vortec became the first company to develop technology for converting the vortex tube phenomenon into practical and effective industrial cooling solutions. Since then, Vortec has continued to refine and expand vortex tube applications, as well as develop air amplification products for more efficient use of compressed air in cleaning and conveying applications. Vortec cooling works by inputting compressed air into a vortex tube where the air cools, and exports cold air to cool a variety of manufacturing processes and technologies, such as electrical cabinets, tools, blades, products, and more.

Maintaining a thrust as far away as 18 inches (450mm) to ensure that your products are receiving full, uniform air coverage, the Nozzle Manifold is ideal for conveyors with multiple product types of various shapes and sizes, products with multi-faceted surfaces to dry, and products with nooks, crannies, or holes.
- PX-Series Centrifugal Air Blower: Paxton's industry-leading, belt-driven PX-Series Centrifugal Blowers offer ultra-high efficiency solutions for process air drying, blow-off, and air rinsing applications.
