Ionizing Bottle Rinser

The Ionizing Bottle Rinser, by Paxton Products, improves sustainability in bottling operations by eliminating the need for water rinsing, and/or rinsing using compressed air. Using a specially designed Air Knife, the Ionizing Bottle Rinser has been successfully qualified under all common test media: styrodot, cardboard dust, and various debris. Paxton’s Ionizing Rinsing Systems efficiently remove particulates, dirt and debris from targeted surfaces with the help of Paxton’s air delivery systems and industry-leading centrifugal blowers. Setting the standard for a new generation of static elimination and air rinsing, Paxton’s Ionizing Rinsing Systems are designed to dissipate the static charges that cause dirt, dust and contaminants to adhere to surfaces, and then air blast the contaminants away using ultra-efficient, blower-driven air. With Paxton’s patented design, you’re able to increase performance while reducing maintenance, and if eliminating compressed air systems, reduce energy usage by as much as 80%.

Benefits:
  • Significantly reduces energy usage by eliminating compressed air
  • Prevents particles and dust from adhering to the inside or outside of container walls
  • Effect a surface free of dirt, dust, and particles to improve surface finish
  • Eliminate potential for water and oil contamination caused by compressed air
  • Elimination of water reduces filtration, drying, and water disposal costs
  • Reduces risk of microbiological growth caused by moisture in water rinses
  • Emitter points are contained within the high velocity airstream of the manifold or Air Knife to promote durability, safety, and a consistently clean ionizing bar
    • More active emitter points give increased ionization performance compared to compressed air
  • More blow-off force at the target
  • Improved durability and performance compared to externally mounted ionizing bars
  • Available for both high speed and low speed lines
  • Successfully qualified for plastic and glass bottles, ranging in size from 8 oz. - 2 liters, with all common test media

The Ionizing Bottle Rinser System Includes the Following:
  • PX-Series Centrifugal Air Blower -> sized to fit based on length and type of air delivery; backed by industry-leading 3-Year Warranty
  • Ionizing 304 Stainless Steel Air Knife -> constructed of 304 stainless steel with mounting hardware to withstand harsh washdown environments
  • Centrifugal Blower Enclosure -> designed to protect the blower during washdown while also reducing noise
  • Inlet and Outlet Filtration -> 5 micron filtration for air entering the blower, and HEPA filtration for air exiting the blower
  • Ionizing Power Supply -> available with or without control relays
  • Optional Variable Frequency Drive

Other Ionizing Air System Applications:
  • Beverage & Bottling: aluminum and tin cans, jars and glass bottles, crates and trays, PET bottles, pouches
  • Food Processing & Packaging: packaging, tin cans, jars, crates and trays
  • Industrial Products: rolled metals, automotive parts and wheels, crates and trays, machined parts, plastic parts, parts after painting or coating
  • Electronics & Solar: flat panels, film and panels
  • Extruded Products: vinyl siding, PVC and plastic pipes, films, plastic sheets
  • Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, & Medical: IV and solution pouches, durable medical devices, packaging and overpack, protein powder packaging
