PowerDry™ Drying System

Originally designed for date coding applications, the patented PowerDry™ Drying System sets the standard for a complete drying and blow-off air system that can be used for drying and blow-off of a wide variety of cans, bottles, and jars. The PowerDry System replaces costly compressed air to lower energy costs by as much as 80%, often paying for itself in less than 12 months in energy savings, depending on your annual operating hours. The PowerDry System was specifically developed as an affordable, quick-to-install alternative to many compressed air nozzles, thermal processes, jets, pipe manifolds, and other common devices, while outperforming them in every possible way. The PowerDry Drying System's high velocity airflow shears off moisture from bottles, cans, jars, and other containers, to give a clean, dry surface for high quality coding and eliminating moisture-related packaging issues.

 

The PowerDry™ Drying System Includes the Following:
  • PX-200 Centrifugal Air Blower -> continuously delivers accurate and pre-set air volume and velocity for flawless performance in ink jet printing, labeling, and other packaging applications; 208-230 V or 460V, 3 Phase (2 Hp)
  • Air Manifold -> customize your system and choose between Paxton’s Inline Manifold or Spyder Manifold; both are available in polypropylene and 304 stainless steel (29.5 inch long x 3 inch diameter)
    • Inline Manifold: features six inline nozzles, positioned in sets of two, that focus the air to target the tops of products
      • Inline Nozzles: Loc-Line construction (3.5 inch long and 1/2 inch ID)
    • Spyder Manifold: features six inline nozzles, positioned in sets of two, plus four flexible ‘spider’ arms that have flare tip nozzles, and can easily be adjusted to reach under and around products for maximum versatility in targeting hard-to-reach problem areas
      • Inline Nozzles: Loc-Line construction (3.5 inch long and 1/2 inch ID)
      • Flare Tip Nozzles: Loc-Line construction (2.5 inch wide flare)
  • Centrifugal Blower Enclosure -> rugged enclosure with washdown capabilities and noise abatement that is designed to protect the blower from water, dirt, and other environmental factors; constructed of white polypropylene with stainless steel base and hardware
  • Mounting Arm -> constructed of 304 stainless steel
