To ease installation and also get the most out of your new Paxton drying system, Paxton installer, Brian Seifert, offers the following tips and tricks for set up and installation:
Plan ahead by mapping out the system well in advance with the following goals:
•Position the blower as close as possible to the air delivery devices.
•Hard pipe using Schedule 40 PVC or stainless pipe when possible.
•Minimize the use of flexible hose as it results in higher pressure drops.
•Minimize the twists ans turns between the blower and the air delivery devices to reduce the use of elbows.
•Use long sweeping turns when possible.
•Unpack and inspect the equipment before installing to familiarize yourself and ensure everything is ready.
•Review the operating manual included with the shipment.
•Have all blower electrical items installed in advance of the installation team.
During the Installation:
•Install the blower first, then the air delivery devices.
•Air delivery devices should be positioned so that they dry from the top to the bottom of the target.
•Drill slowly when attaching the mounting brackets. This will save both the drill and you.
•Make sure there is plenty of engagement when connecting the hose.
•And most importantly -- CHECK THE ROTATION OF THE BLOWER BEFORE OPERATION.
